Types of Teeth Guards

Soft/Hard Customized Nightguards

  • Recommended for patients with Moderate to Heavy Bruxism
  • Hand-crafted with heat and light-cured prosthetic resin (not vacuum formed or acrylic)
  • Better retention that produces a better fit, eliminating rocking and reducing chair time when compared to traditional hard night guards
  • Easier seating, for both patient and doctor, as the resilient resin on the inner surface is softened when soaked in warm water and hardens upon cooling
  • Balanced occlusion with cuspid rise, anterior guidance and posterior disclusion; or balanced occlusion in centric occlusion and excursions
  • Resilient resin and hard resin are fused together to prevent delamination

Soft Nightguards

  • Recommended for patients with Light Bruxism
  • Vacuum formed for a comfortable, flexible fit requiring little or no adjustments
  • Comes in 3 sizes; Thin, Medium, and Thick
  • Can also be worn during the day to help prevent teeth grinding

Mouth Guards

  • Vacuum formed for a comfortable fit requiring little or no adjustments
  • Helps protect your teeth while engaging in contact sports
